Wired Magazine has a nice write up of Brian Clark's speech at DIY Days.
Phenomenal Work at DIY Days
on May 14, 2013

Over the last sixteen years, we've honed a lab process for rapidly incubating innovative solutions for clients and collaborators. Our process builds off of four key insights that guide our experience-focused problem solving approach:

  1. Everything emerges from clearly articulated goals.
  2. People make sense of the world through narratives.
  3. Experience is the social currency of communities.
  4. Any useful plan must answer what, why and how.

We immerse in the concept development phase with our collaborators using this process to build a communications strategy, a creative approach, a design document and an operational plan as a single integrated deliverable. We've used this process successfully with collaborators as diverse as entrepreneurs, not-for-profits, and Fortune 50 corporations to harness the innovations of experience design.
